CONCEPT OF "KYOSEI"

Living and working together for the common good

TOTAL incorporated Canon’s philosophy of ‘Kyosei’ to their new headquarters in Hong Kong. More precisely defined as a ‘spirit of cooperation’, we sought to move away from a traditional segmented office layout in favour of unrestricted open spaces and areas for breakout and collaboration. The aim was to bring people together, allowing freer communication between departments and ease of access across all levels of seniority – a physical realisation of Canon’s egalitarian spirit.
